We have set up employees, jobs, clients, and function
codes for a typical agency environment. We've included a
variety of transactions for the past 30 days, so you can edit or add
entries.
Timesheet Entry: If you follow
the "Timesheet Entry" link from the home page,
you'll be directed to a "working" version of Control G's ET.net .
If you press the "login" button, you'll see what a standard timekeeper employee
would see on a daily basis. On the calendar screen, select the
"day" you wish to modify by "clicking" on the underlined date. On
the actual timesheet screen, you'll notice that you can "add" new time entries
at the bottom of the grid, or you can "edit" or "delete" existing entries (if
any exist). Try the job id and function id search functions. Edit
the description field if you'd like, then press "update" to log your entry.
Job Control: Following the
"Job Control" link will direct you to a "working" version of Control G's
JobControl.net. Select any of the jobs and you'll see just how may
reports, views, or even edit functions will be available to you from the main
Job Control Screen. Try the various reports and/or the edit procedures.
Traffic Control: If you follow
the "Traffic Control" link from the home page,
you'll be directed to a "working" version of Control G's Traffic.net. If
you press the "login" button, you'll see what a standard production employee
would see on a daily basis. You can "check in" jobs (ones you're actually
working on) or "complete" jobs at which point you'll be asked to confirm (or
edit) the description of your work, and confirm (or edit) the number of hours
required for the function.
If you'd like to login as an administrator and view the
application from that perspective, send us a note and
request an administrator id and password.
Again, please report back to
us on your experience. We are interested in any and all comments.
